BOOKING
At the time of booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date and time. Your session deposit can be made in the form of Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Appointments made without deposit may not be honored and are subject to cancellation. Payment of the deposit is required at the time of booking. Payment of the deposit acts as an agreement to all of Smaly’s Snapshots policies. This includes allowing her to use photos from the session for portfolio, website, or promotional purposes, as she sees fit.
PAYMENT
Sessions must be paid in full prior to shoot date or immediately after the shoot via Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Checks are not accepted. An additional $20 surcharge will be added on all sessions where client is beyond 15 minutes late. Session end times will not be extended to accommodate client lateness.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
If you’re unable to attend your photo session, your deposit will act as a cancellation fee. Cancellations made with at least 72 hours’ notice may have the deposit credited toward a future session or receive a 50% refund of the deposit. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled session, the deposit is non-refundable. However, clients will be allowed to reschedule once for free within a 3-month window, based on the photographer’s availability.
Smaly’s Snapshots reserves the right to decline future bookings from clients who have a repeated history of cancellations.
If Smaly’s Snapshots is unable to perform the session due to circumstances beyond control, such as illness, emergency, natural disaster, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events, the deposit will be refunded in full. The photographer will not be held liable beyond the return of any monies paid.
This policy also applies in the event that photographic materials are lost or damaged due to camera malfunction, technical issues, or shipping errors not caused by the photographer. In any situation where Smaly’s Snapshots fails to deliver services for other reasons, the maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount already paid by the client.
